TRIBUNE LOCAL March 14, 1998 Page 5A Obituaries ERNA MORELAND DANVILLE Erna Mae Moreland, 77, of Danville, died Friday, March 13, 1998, at the Morning View Care Center in Danville. Born Nov. 16, 1920, in Walhonding, she was the daughter of the late Perry and Sadie (Proper) Frazee. On Nov. 22, 1939, she married Robert Moreland.

He preceded her in death Oct. 6, 1981. She was a homemaker and a cook at the former Der Dutchman Restaurant in Danville. She was a member of the Riley Chapel Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Patti Shellenbarger of Mount Vernon; two sons, Lonnie: and Gary Moreland, both of Danville; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three brothers, Forrest Frazee of Warsaw, Kenny Frazee of Howard, and Marlowe Frazee of Danville.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Christine Frazee and Bonnie Austin; and six brothers, Lloyd, Lester, Archie, Harley, Bernard and Otis Frazee. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Monday, March 16, 1998, at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville, with Pastor Jerry Keegan officiating. Burial will be in the Riley Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 p.m., Sunday, March 15, 1998, and until service time Monday at the funeral home. HAROLD LOWRY NEWARK Harold C.

Lowry, 68, of Newark, died Tuesday, March 10, 1998, at his home. Born Nov. 25, 1929, in Columbus, he was the son of the late Clarence and Lucy Catherine (Guy) Lowry. He was retired from Rockwell International in Newark. He attended St.

Paul's Lutheran Church in Roseville. Survivors include a brother, George Lowry and wife Mildred of Adamsville; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m., Tuesday, March 17, 1998, at the Baptist Cemetery in Adamsville, with the Rev. Janet Hatch officiating. The Vensil-Orr Funeral Home in Adamsville is in charge of arrangements.

CRYSTAL JOHNSTON TOLEDO Crystal L. (Dearing) Johnston, 38, of Sylvania Township, Toledo, died Thursday, March 12, 1998, at the Toledo Hospital. Born Nov. 14, 1959, she was the daughter of Robert Dearing, and Wanda and Charles Ulch of Coshocton. She was married to David Johnston, who survives.

She was a graduate of Davis College with an associate's degree in office administration. She was an animal lover and had worked for years as a dog groomer. She was formerly employed by the Paramount Printing Co. and worked for Maritz Marketing Research. She was a painter and avid bowler and enjoyed traveling as her favorite leisure activities.

Survivors include five sisters, Kim Bartlett and husband Guy, Robin Koch and husband Melvin, Dawn Ulch, Cindy Ulch and Jody Ulch; three brothers, Thomas Dearing and wife Wendy, Randy Dearing and wife Marlene, and Chuck Ulch a grandmother, Doris Pasket; and a father- and mother-in-law, Paul and Irene Johnston of Coshocton. Funeral services will be conducted at a.m., Monday, March 16, 1998, at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Toledo (west of Corey Road). Burial will be in Toledo Memorial Park. Friends may call from 2-9 p.m., Sunday, March 15, 1998, at the funeral home. The family requests memorial contributions be made in Crystal's name to the American Heart Association.
