Wednesday, March 11, 1998 ON THE RECORD Great Falls Tribune fined $520 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended. Pepion, Shane Louvel, 25, 1209 2nd Ave. S. No. 3, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and was sentenced to 10 days in jail, all but two days suspended.

Scobey. During the 1930s he ran horses for the CBC Outfit in Eastern Montana. Boyce worked as a cowboy, breaking horses, caring for cattle and rodeoing before establishing his own ranch in the Otter area in 1941. On Dec. 24, 1940, he married Edna Knoblock in Butte.

In 1960 the couple sold their cattle in the Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation and built the Esquire Best Western Motel in Billings. In 1967 they bought a ranch on the Big Horn River north of Hardin. In 1971 they bought a ranch between Lewistown and Grass Range along McDonald Creek. His wife died in 1995. On Aug.

10, 1997 he married Dorothy Brug in Buffalo, Wyo. Boyce lived his entire life at home on Montana ranges, and in 1989 was recognized for his lifetime achievement in the livestock industry by the State of Montana. He also published a book about his life, "It's Hard to Kill a Cowboy." Boyce was a member of the Eagles and Moose Lodges and Friendship Lodge No. 37 A.F. A.M., all of Lewistown and the Elks Lodge of Sheridan, Wyo.

Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Sherry Boyce of Missoula and Lora Boyce of Kalispell; a son, Dee Boyce of Lewistown; five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. He worked on the dam through completion, returning to Great Falls during World War II to work in civil service on Gore Hill. After the war, Fishbaugh worked 35 years at Graham Ross, spending 13 years in the feedlot. He retired in 1981.

DeSilva was born April 10, 1925, in Great Falls, attended schools in Great Falls and graduated from Simms High School before attending college in Bozeman.

He was a stationary engineer and in his early years worked at Canyon Ferry Dam, Tiber Dam, Malmstrom Air Force Base, the Rainbow Hotel. DeSilva retired from the Cascade County Convalescent Home. He lived in Ulm for 15 years before moving to Great Falls in the early 1990s. DeSilva was a member of the Operating Engineers Union and a former member of the Moose Lodge. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, reading, traveling and playing bingo.

Survivors include three sisters, Ethel Mang of Fairfield, Darlene Cook of Great Falls and Priscilla Senechal of Winslow, a brother Robert DeSilva of Shelton, and 10 nieces and nephews. She was born Jan. 30, 1913, in Streeter, and was raised and educated in Big Timber. She married Jack Jenkins; they later divorced. In 1934 she married Lester A. Mack; he died in 1976.

She worked as a nursing home, hotel and restaurant cook. Survivors include eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Elona Mack, in 1961, and by two sons, Charles Jenkins in 1996 and Robert Mack in 1997. Paul was born April 16, 1916, in Fort Benton, and graduated from high school' in 1935. In 1936 he married Judith Christopherson in Fort Benton. He also worked for the Anaconda smelter, Pastime Bar and Chouteau County Courthouse until retiring in 1981. He was a member of the Episcopal Church, Eagles and the Elks.

Paul was a self-taught carpenter and enjoyed fishing, dancing and playing cards. His wife has died. Survivors include two daughters, Rita Yirsa of Big Sandy and Donna Wigger of Floweree; a sister, Marabeth Davison of Fort Benton; two brothers, George Paul of Helena and Gordon Paul of San Luis Obispo, five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and a longtime companion, Geraldine O'Donnell, of Great Falls. Dokken-Nelson Funeral Service of Bozeman is handling arrangements. She was born June 11, 1918, in Lenoir City, Tenn. The family moved to the Gallatin Valley when she was 2, and she grew up there. On June 19, 1936, she married Ernest E. Kessler in Bozeman.

They lived at Bend, in the 1940s, operating an ice cream store. They returned to the Bozeman area in 1951, living on a farm for many years. Her major interests were her children and the animals on the farm. Surviving are daughters Barbara Dahlman of Dutton, Brenda Hossner of Bozeman and Edith "Ede" Schenkel of Corvallis, a son, Edward Kessler of Miles City; a brother Harold Kollock of Everett, Wash; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Her husband died in 1989.

The only child of Omer and Eva (Callahan) Lack, she was born June 20, 1924 in Island City, Kentucky. Margie grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio, spending 27 years there before moving to southern California, where she lived for 18 years. She moved to Great Falls where she owned and operated pet grooming salons, first out of home and then Penney's Poodle Boutique and Pamper's Pet Salon. She was the only licensed trainer of dog groomers in the state of Montana. After 20 years, she retired to Las Vegas and spent 8 years there before returning to Great Falls this past October.

She is survived by her mother, Eva Lack of Las Vegas, NV; five daughters, Barbara Healey of Las Vegas, Nancy Hoskinson of Lewistown, Janice Porter of Las Vegas, Sandra Blais of Great Falls, and Terri Gac of Great Falls; and Margie's only son, Don Davisson of Las Vegas. She was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW, Post 1087, and a reception will be held there following her funeral service.
