About the position

You’ll be working for a major outsource company, specialised in airline services and managing flight reservations and ticketing on behalf of their partners with exposure to major booking systems such as SABRE, AMADEUS, GALILEO, etc. With this service, they are able to handle anything from flight reservations, ancillary services, medical requests, corporate bookings, refund applications, and much more.

We’re currently looking for enthusiastic Airline Sales & Marketing Executives who will take charge of setting and smashing sales targets. Your mission? Cultivate strong relationships with big brands, corporate travel agents, and everyone in between.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Proactively promote and sell airways routes, fares, and services through various communication channels.
  • Keep those records squeaky clean and customer-friendly.
  • Negotiate, manage, and monitor incentive agreements with corporate/leisure clients to drive performance.
  • Be the superhero of customer service, sorting out bookings, issues, and complaints.
  • Keep your finger on the pulse of sales performance, making strategic moves when needed.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales departments to develop sales and marketing plans.
  • Cultivate relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, and special interest organizations to strengthen ongoing business partnerships.
  • Spot new business opportunities and turn them into gold.
  • Keep those commercial relationships strong with regular visits and check-ins.
  • Customize sales presentations to woo audiences worldwide.
  • Act as a brand ambassador by attending industry functions, trade events, and conferences regularly.

What is required?

  • Fluent in English (at least C1 level). Other languages are an advantage.
  • Willingness to relocate to Malta and travel extensively for business purposes.
  • Possession of a European nationality and passport.
  • Previous experience in the travel agency or airline industry, preferably in a sales capacity.
  • Determined and target-driven mindset.
  • Confidence, ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and maintain a high level of organization.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You have a huge sense of responsibility.
  • Proficiency in PC skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with Amadeus is considered an asset.
  • Availability for a minimum commitment of 12 months.
